GUEST BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This document defines the general reservation and payment terms relating to bookings made with Stuenes AS with Norwegian reg. no. 912271544 , whose registered office is Stuenes Lodge, Øvre Lakselv, 9700 Lakselv, Norway.
1.1 The following sections outline our terms and conditions (the “T&Cs”). These T&Cs govern all bookings made with Stuenes AS, either directly via Stuenes AS’s own reservation services, such as stueneslodge.com, or via third party reservations.

2.2 Bookings are non-transferrable and non-refundable in accordance with the cancellation limitations defined in section 6 below. Name changes are only permitted upon Stuenes AS’s expressed written confirmation.
3.1 Upon booking a stay with Stuenes Lodge, you are required to pay 50% of the total fee. The booking is not binding or otherwise secured until such fee has been paid and upon your receipt of written booking confirmation.
3.2 For the following packages, the remaining 50 % booking fee shall be paid in accordance with the below deadlines. Any bookings made later than the below time limits shall be paid in full. Payments are made by bank/wire transfer.

(a) 5 months before the fishing season begins for Fishing Guests
(b) 6 weeks before the arrival date for all Stuenes AS bookings (ALL SEASONS and all packages except fishing packages).
3.3 You are solely responsible for any additional surcharges made by third parties, including your financial institution.
3.4 Stuenes AS reserves the right to adjust the prices (before and after a booking has been completed) as a result of changes in costs due to increased taxes and fees or other conditions outside of the Stuenes AS’s control.
4.1 Stuenes AS offers the following room types: Single and twin. Stuenes AS will always seek to meet your requests on room type, but is unable to provide any guarantee. Stuenes AS shall in no event be held liable for failing to provide requested room type or other requests.
4.2 Maximum occupancy per room is 1-2 persons.
4.3 There is an 18-year age limit. Stuenes AS reserves the right to cancel the booking if no valid ID can be produced.
4.4 Child policy – the following age restrictions apply in the various seasons:
(a) Summer Season (June – October): Minimum age 4;
(b) Northern Light Season (November – March): Minimum age 12;
(c) Snowmobile & Snowkiting Explorer Season (April – May): Minimum age 16.
4.5 During all seasons: Stuenes AS will provide single & twin accommodation with shared bathroom facilities.
4.6 Stuenes AS does not hold a public license for sale of alcohol. You are permitted to buy and consume alcohol purchased from third parties (or off-premises). You can enjoy alcohol in public areas (including terrace, and the hot tub.
5.1 Stuenes AS offers transfers from Lakselv Airport to Stuenes Lodge and return will be provided on arrival and departure days. No price reduction will be made for guests not taking advantage of Stuenes AS’s transfer offering.
5.2 You are responsible for checking pick-up and drop-off times before booking your flight tickets. You should make sure that these times fit in with the transfer times.
5.3 In case of delayed flights or other delays causing you to miss your scheduled transfer (included in the package). Stuenes AS will do its utmost to assist with arranging alternative transportation/solution. Stuenes AS is not responsible for any additional costs.
6.1 Stuenes AS reserves the right to cancel bookings for the following reasons:
(a) Failure to meet the sufficient number of bookings to make a particular program, retreat, or adventure-week financially viable. The viability of such bookings is Stuenes AS’s sole decision;
(b) Erroneous or mistyped rates, of which Stuenes AS instead may choose to correct the charge, subsequent to getting in touch with you via the contact information that you have provided;
(c) Failure to meet any payment terms.
6.2 Cancellations made by Stuenes AS in accordance with the above subsections (a) and (b), entitles you to full refund for any payments made to Stuenes AS in accordance with these T&Cs. No refund is made in connection with cancellations in accordance with subsection (c) above.
6.3 You may always cancel your booking(s) upon providing notification to Stuenes AS. No deposit payments will be refunded. You are also obligated to pay the whole booking fee unless you provide cancellation notice in accordance with the following requirements:
(a) Within 42 days prior to the first date of the booking during the Fishing season (June – August);
(b) Within 28 days prior to the first date of the booking during the Fall, Winter & Spring Season activities (October – May),
6.4 Any conditions, warranties, representations and other terms, which might otherwise be implied by law, are excluded.
6.5 Stuenes AS shall not be liable for any direct or any indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to, cost associated with flights, rental cars, other hotels, and similar, loss of profits, loss of sales, loss of business, business interruption, loss of business opportunity, goodwill and/or reputation or any other damages arising out of or in any way connected with your booking or stay with Stuenes AS.
7 ACTIVITIES AND WEEKLY PROGRAMS
7.1 Stuenes AS offers certain paid activities and weekly programs. Activity bookings are binding. Upon booking activities, you are obligated to pay for the activity in full unless canceling such booking before 20.00 (8:00 PM) the night before the activity is to take place. This applies irrespective of the activity is prepaid.
7.2 You must inform Stuenes AS of any special medical needs, allergies or dietary requirements at the time of booking activities.
7.3 Stuenes AS will always strive to carry out trips as advertised. However, certain activities are weather dependent. In case of bad weather, Stuenes AS will offer an alternative activity. The same applies in the event an activity is canceled due to Stuenes AS’s own fault. In such a case, you are free to dismiss the alternative activity offering and claim a refund, if prepaid. Stuenes AS is not obligated to offer alternative activities in the event you are unable to attend due to illness or injury.
7.4 You understand and accept the risks involved with all of the activities of your trip. You understand and accept the risk involved with activities, such as snowmobiling, snowkiting, and ATV driving and you do so at your own risk and responsibility.
7.5 It is your own responsibility to ensure adequate insurance coverage for any of Stuenes AS’s offered activities. Your insurance must cover you for all of the activities of your trip as well as travel and personal insurance. You must ensure you have adequate cover for search, helicopter rescue, and repatriation in the event of a medical emergency.
7.6 Stuenes AS is not liable or otherwise responsible for any damage, loss or cost associated with:
Weather or any other unforeseeable or unavoidable conditions;
(b) Illness, injury or death sustained during a trip, activity or similar;
(c) Loss of personal belongings.
7.7 Stuenes AS might take photographs and videos of certain activities and trips. You agree to permit Stuenes AS to take photographs and videos of you (and any person you represent) for marketing purposes, without requesting any additional permission from you. Stuenes AS’s use of such materials shall be free of charge. You agree to assign to Stuenes AS any rights you might have to such materials.
8 LATE PAYMENT AND LIABILITY IN THE EVENT OF DAMAGE
8.1 In case of outstanding/late payments, Stuenes AS retains the right to claim an 8.5 % annual interest rate, or the maximum applicable national statutory interest, whichever is greater.
8.2 If you, or whomever you represent, are responsible for any damage to Stuenes AS’s property resulting from negligent or irresponsible behavior. Stuenes Lodge and rooms are non-smoking. In case of infringement of this rule, Stuenes AS will claim a standard NOK 5,000 fee for extra cleaning of the lodge. This fee will be debited from the final invoice.
9.1 While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of all advertising materials and information, Stuenes AS cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies.
9.2 Any complaints regarding Stuenes AS trips must be made immediately at the time of the stay. If you feel that your complaint has not been properly dealt with, you must notify Stuenes AS in writing within 30 days of the end date of your stay.
9.3 This Agreement shall in all respects be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway.
9.4 Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be amicably negotiated between the Parties and, failing resolution, shall be referred to and finally resolved in Indre Finnmark tingrett (district court).
