Guided Hike with Greenland Dogs
Our experienced wilderness guide will take you on a fun adventure, showing you some of the beautiful sights of Porsanger by foot.
The day will start with a meet and greet of 13 greenland dogs, where you’ll be able to get up close and learn all about sled dogs – with plenty of time for cuddles too!
The guide will then take you on a 2-3 hour hike through Stabbursdalen National Park where you will be joined by a few of the senior greenland dogs.
After your hike, you will be served a warm lunch in the lavvu, consisting of reindeer stew (or a vegetarian option) with homemade bread.
We have trails suitable for all fitness levels, whether you want mainly flat terrain or a more challenging up-hill hike, our guide will take you on a memorable trip!

Things to note
- We recommend wearing woolen thermals / underwear, a woolen jumper and a windproof jacket. We also advise warm socks and sturdy hiking boots, as well as a hat and gloves.
- This tour includes a 1hr round trip drive to / from the kennels.
